For those who do not know. DMP stands for DIFFERENTIATED MODULE PROGRAMME.

Basically, it is a programme where you have to fulfill a 42 hour requirement and attend random modules. Some are internal (during cirriculum time) and some are external.

An example of an external module is our Chemistry RA's NTU module thing.

So, the whole Chem RA had to go (compulsory = KSP forced us) to NTU for this lab session and lecture thingies. Since he kindly chartered a bus for us we honoured him by singing many many many songs that we edited to include him inside the lyrics.

This DMP consists of many 3 hour sessions which are spread out over a few weeks, with each 3 hour session made up of 1 hr lecture and 2hr lab work normally.

Today, if i remember clearly, it was about treatment of water (PUB water). But everythings quite fuzzy since i think i probably fell asleep about 5 times. And Russ took a pic of shawn

Shawn is the sleeping guy and russ is the guy with half his face chopped off.

Im sitting on russ's left. Thank goodness he didnt take photos of me.

(Photo is courtesy of russell btw)

The poor guy sleeping found lots of rubbish in his jacket sleeve when he woke up.

(Courtesy of russell as well)

After that we did some lab prac thingy where we needed to find the pH of some dirty water and also measure the precipitate and the size of precipitate and stuff like that by mixing random polymers and goodness knows what.

-breathes-

But i spent most of the time koping gloves, so i dont really know what was happening.

And this is the second time we went NTU for DMP, so we decided to make this time more fruitful. The last time we koped 13 gloves.

This time we koped 45.

I beat russell 25-20

Red indian chief koped 1 only. Haha ownz.

The way we koped gloves requires a great deal of teamwork. It requires at least two people...one innocent guy standing in front of the glove-koping guy. Russ and I took turns.

Anyway, here is a random photo of some stirring thing used for...well, stirring.

This lab prac was quite messy as people were somehow really clumsy today.

Estimated about 5 spills at the least.

Russ contributed to about 3 spills i think

So after that Russ I and Daniel decided to go amk by cab since we had phy cct to mug for (shit i should mug now right?). Turns out, the cab trip was about as long as if we were to take public transport. And you chuck 2 bored guys and a rich red retarded indian chief and interesting things are bound to happen.

It turns out that the indian chief likes slurpees. Apple flavoured. And he brought the remnants of it into the cab.

Big mistake.

Russ and I took turns poking the indian chief for random reasons. And the more excited we got, the more jerking his slurpee experienced, finally resulting in a spray of green stickly liquid that pelted down on indian chief and I. And turned us into walking advertisements for APPLE FLAVOURED SLURPEEEE....

And according to Russ' blog....

"then daniel shoved the half-empty slurpee cup into his bag and its started leaking."

Well...actually, he had some help with the shoving...

And so I sacrificed one of my hard earned gloves to contain the slurpee

Courtesy of Russ again. (I really need a new phone)

The green part shows the apple flavoured slurpee.

My pants were pretty saturated with slurpee by about this time.

And possibly mixed with russ' mucus since he (kindly?) lent me his hankerchief too clean my pants. And he uses it for his nose. Anyway, thanks to russell for saving my pants from turning green.

3 things ive learnt today:
1) Importance of teamwork during glove koping
2) DO NOT TAKE TAXI BACK FROM NTU AT 5:30. THE JAM IS HORRIBLE.
3) Slurpees and taxis dont mix well.

And a reminder....Russ you owe me 3 oreos. Indian chief, you owe me $8.50. With interest.
